RESPONSIBILITIES
Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic (EMT-P) provides immediate and effective Advanced Life Support care to the critically ill or injured. The applicant must be able to perform all duties required of the position of EMT-P including all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
A. Must possess a current North Carolina or National Registry Paramedic Certification with North Carolina reciprocity
B. Must have ACLS, PALS, BTLS and any other accepted paramedic level certifications and qualifications.
C. Must have a valid driver’s license
D. Must have a good driving record
E. Applicants must be able to work 24-hour shifts, holidays, and weekends
F. Good physical stamina, endurance, and body condition
G. Be able to walk, stand, and carry
H. Lift 200 lbs. with an assistant
I. Good work ethic documented through references
J. Teamwork oriented attitude
Requirements “Post Job Offer” before Employment may begin with Caswell County:
A. Background Check: Driving Record, Sex Offenders and Criminal
B. Drug urinalysis test conducted may be 24 hours of accepting job offer
